Recommendation: L'etranger or la Peste are much better Camus options
A philosophical novel, by one of the leading existentialist of the 20th Century. The protagonist is a judge-penitent, who leads the reader through a series of monologues, which ultimately demonstrate the absurdities of life.
As I read this novel in French, I have to admit that I kind of felt how most of you must feel when reading my blog - lost and scarred.
J'ai cependant une superiorite, celle de le savoir, qui me donne le droit de parler.
